Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

A lot of you ladies believe in, 'the past should be left in the past.' I completely agree, but what if......

FH came clean on some guy on guy experimenting he did in college or something? (not that I an in this situation)

Thoughts???

I am scared to see your reaction to this question...lol

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

no homophobia here so it wouldn't make a difference to me.

like i said, if loves me now and wants to be with me now and for the rest of our lives, who he was with in the past doesn't make a difference (as long as there was protection)

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

I would be very dissapointed that he did not discuss this with me earlier in our relationship.

I don't know if I could get past that. It is bad enough that Matt was a ho' with women, men would just drive me right over the edge!

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

is my initial reaction. I don't know how I would feel because in the back of my mind I'd be afraid he might one day leave me for a guy and I can't compete with that.

I think also because I know of several people who left their spouses to be in a gay relationship I'd have to take a step back and re-evaluate the situation. JMO.

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

It would be the same thing as other women, for me... I remember how crazy everyone acted in college, I wouldn't give it much credit. Like everyone else says, you've got him now!

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

I'm with Scoop, I'd rather not know. And if that was the situation, I'd rather he had told me about it already.

Eroxgirl - my mother always said if my dad were ever to leave her, she'd rather him leave for a guy rather than a girl. She thinks that's more competition.

JMO... just to clear the air, I am not homophobic.

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

If we are talking about homosexual sex I would definitely want to know. I think it would totally change my perception of him ... not because of something he did a long time ago but that he had never told me all this time. I was definitely feel betrayed and a lot more weirded out too.

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

The past is the past. I would hope he used protection on all his 'conquests' - man or woman...and leave it at that.

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

I don't get the difference. If FH had intimate relations with someone in the past and I wasn't aware, when I did find out, it wouldn't matter to me if it were a guy or girl he had been with. What difference does it make? Does it change that he is with you now and wants to be with you for the rest of your lives? Does it make him a different person?

Why would you feel any more weird if it were a guy he was with instead of a girl? The real issue should be that he may have been with someone you weren't aware of, not the gender of the person he was with.

That's my opinion.

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

It would definitely weird and gross me out. I don't care if two men go at it or whatever, as long as its not MY man. I just think that if there's ever been any guy on guy action, somewhere deep inside him, he is gay and either doesn't realize it, or hasn't admitted it to himself yet.

Interesting question.

Re: Second part to my topic 'what would you do?'

Thrilled- Do you feel the same way about girl on girl? If a girl experimented with her roommate in college do you think she is a lesbian and just not out of the closet? Just curious.
