Second thoughts on my wedding band- need advice

Original post by michellelovesjohn

Hi Ladies...I need some reassurance/advice here.
I am having some major second thoughts about my wedding band (all pics in my album)

I adore my e-ring. Its handmade and exactly what I wanted...but NO wedding band goes with it. I have a gap no matter what and everything seems to take away from it.

I already decided that I don't want an insert, cos it hides the work in the basket and I am not sure that I like a curved band...

so that leaves me with two options:

the ring I bought, which is substantial, blingy and can be worn on its own but doesnt really 'match' my e ring or...

a thin band that matches the band on e ring, which leaves a little to be desired and probably wont be worn on its own....but it'll be a matching set

what do you think i should do?

TIA!!!

Here is a pic of my rings to show an example of matching bands! my husband had my e-ring custom made so we went back to the same woman for her to match my wedding band!

I LOOOOOVE the rings together and each one independently!

While mine totally match you don't have to go completely matchy matchy....but I do think the bands you currently have could work together better!

I think both are beautiful, but that they don't match. Like the girls said.. you can wear them on separate hands or possibly switch it for something that does match. Your rings are gorgeous though!

Thank you =)
Thats where Im torn. The band is so pretty, even more in person, so now I am going to feel bad returning it. I like the option of wearing it alone, with my ering on my right hand, which is what ill probably end up doing.

that being said, who made up the rule that they HAVE to match?? lol although they dont match, i dont think they look completely horrible together. I know they are questionable together, but not like horrendous, right?? lol

i guess i just want the option of wearing them however i want, which is difficult with my ering...

anyways you girls are great, thanks for all the advice.
