my boss called me yesterday and left a message about her rsvp but ended with 'i'll see you saturday'... now there is no reason for me to see my boss except for my shower...so i put it out of my mind, right? Then one of my students that graduated and is in florida called me today to congratulate me on my shower on Saturday! my cousin (a BM) was here and I handed her the phone and she walked out the room and come back saying 'i don't know what he's talking about'! Plus she's from out of state and just happened to schedule a fitting this week...hm?
so is it bad that i went to the hairdresser today, just in case?? i mean it's supposed to be a surprise and my mother swears there's nothing going on this weekend, but 2 unlikely people call me and carelessly drop that?? now i feel like mission impossible...!! And to make matters worse, FH calls me and he's like 'i've got double overtime, so i won't see you until sunday'?? Too many coincidences, I think not!!
it's like i wanted to be surprised, and i plan to act the part if it really is tomorrow...but now part of me wants to know the how, when, and where...am i bad??

like tell them im going to a day spa miles away that day or something and see them panick but Im evil like that

I hate surprises so I would be happy I had some advance warning. Look your best, but not too good so you don't ruin it for the planners. Surprise parties are more fun for the people giving them, at least in my view since I hate people looking at me.

I actually did this to my sister today....I think that my shower is tomorrow because of all the slip ups that people made today..plus my mom and sister are acting strange....so when my sister called to ask what I was doing tomorrow...I told her that Im going for an massage and facial at 1pm. I let her persuade me to cancel the appointment so that I could go shopping at babies r us with her for our cousins baby shower gift....meanwhile there never was a spa appointment....Im so evil and cruel
