She goes and finds her food in the trash of others and organizes trash tours around the city. It is kinda sad to see that she finds good things that people throw away.

omg theres like a whole society of those people. especially in ny. it was funnny cuz i was with the inlaws going to dinner in the city. and we were stopped at a red light. california pizza kitchen threw out like 10 bags fullllll of foood. im like yoo forget the cottage, let s just eat here.
i mean BAAAAAGS full of veggies and bread. its a shame they cant give it to homeless ppl cuz of liability issues. but i could never live like a freegan.
they also say freegans dont get sick. they eat all this stuff, their bodies get immune to all the nasty bacteria. cool stuff

Dood, if you go to bakeries (esp like Panera) they bag up all the bagels and pastries they don't sell and toss them right in the dumpster....they are protected since they are all in their own bags....FREE FOOOOOOOD.
Honestly it doesn't gross me out, is that wrong??
Supermarkets do it too, with produce.

friends of ours are fregan but only when they go on tour. basically they just mooch whatever they can off whoever they can.
