Securing the # of invites

Does anyone know:

Does it cost more per plate to have 150 guests? Does the price go down or up per plate at 200?

Unfortuantely it stays the same whether you have more or less.
Just have to make sure you meet the guaranteed minimum.

Actually I think it depends upon where you are having your wedding. Ask your banquet manager. There is a price drop per plate for us if we have 175 versus the 150 we were initially figuring. HTH.

I was going to say the same thing. The difference wasn't that big for us, though, so we opted to pay slightly more for the lower guarantee. My cousin had to pay for 20+ empty plates when she got married so not meeting my min. is one of my biggest fears...I felt safer guaranteeing less people!
