See now this is how it's supposed to be done...

See now this is how it's supposed to be done...

I just got an invitation for our friend's wedding in October. I immediately took out the RSVP card, checked off yes, selected our meals, and mailed it out today.

See how easy that was? Now let's hope our guests can do the same for us!

Let's all hope!!

I don't understand, most people know when they are invited to a wedding when the wedding is. So when they get the invite they should know right away, either yes they are coming or no they aren't. WHYYY is it so difficult to RSVP right away?
Like do they put the response card away and really need to think about whether or not they are coming?

I mean the only thing I could think of that might take a little extra time (like a minute and a half more) is figuring out your entree choice if that's part of the RSVP card. Other than that, check yes or no and send it on its way!

Hmmmm I'm trying to think back...but I don't think I have ever gotten a wedding invite with menu options on the RSVP card before. I hate to say it for fear of sounding lame...but I've never even heard of doing this before

Kudos to you for being a great wedding guest and sending out that RSVP right away

Thats how I am... I don't know how people can just leave an invite sitting around knowing the person needs a headcount... Yes or No.. its not that hard!

This is personally my first as well, although I have heard of it being done before. It's hard to figure what you'll be in the mood for 3 months in advance, but I went simple with chicken... FH got the Filet Mignon LOL

hee hee, i just sent in a rsvp for a wedding within 2 days of getting the invite. After being on these boards, I know everyone hate late rsvp-ers!

It just a hassle really to have to make all those phone calls and push people into giving you an answer. And what if the answer is 'No'? That's just awkward

It just had the 3 choices listed and then a note above saying 'Please indicate how many of each entree choice' or something like that.
