I think that taking pics of each side before would be better for you if you really dont want to see each other until the ceremony. Then during CH all you have to do is take the group pics which will take less time.

well we have a ton of time in between for our pics so it is not a problem for us... and i like the idea (i know i'm gay LOL) of the doors opening and us seeing each other for the first time right there-- AHH CORNY but lol, i can't help myself...

but you should do what you and FH want! i don't believe in the bad luck thing, that's silly-- you should do whatever is easier for you and whatever you feel works for you two... having the nice peaceful moment to yourselves before the big day starts sounds nice and if it helps with your pics, even more the reason

If I was in your shoes I would take the pictures before. Past Brides always say to take your time and not to feel rushed on your day. One of my friends did this and she said it was still very special. It did not take away from there moment. They where able to enjoy the rest of there day without feeling rushed. But in the end this is your day. What ever you choose its your way. Best of Luck!!

Thank you so much everyone for your great advice...I really needed to hear other opinions besides the fiance and the photographers.

I think we will end up seeing each other before because like most of you have said, I really dont want to feel rushed and want to be able to enjoy the CH (and want my family and BP to enjoy it too). Also, I agree that regardless of whether we see each other beforehand for pics, I think the moment I am walking down the aisle will still be emotional, etc.

Well we're not getting married at the reception hall. We're getting married in church. We are keeping with tradition and not seeing or talking to each other the day of the wedding...the first time we will see each other is at church after my father walks me down the aisle.

Same here! We have plenty on time in between!

If you dont mind seeing each other before then do it! That way you dont miss you CH!

We're taking pictures before. It will be better that way and the day will go smoother. I actually can't wait to see him in the garden we're taking pics in.
