How many of us are taking pictures before the ceremony??? I'm getting married on location and refuse to miss a second of my cocktail hour...lol....
Anyone feel the same??
Are you going to make it a special moment when you first see each other?? What do you have in mind??

I'm jewish so I will be seeing FH before the ceremony to sign our marriage contract and take pics. The photographers usually create a 'special moment' for the couple to see each other for the first time and make it really nice.

I'm so confused about this too, I want great pictures but, I dont want him to see me before the ceremony. FH wants to go to cocktail hour and would rather take pictures before the ceremony. I dont know what to do.....................

We are gettting married at the RH and taking pics before the ceremony. I have an idea of what I want to do for that first sight setting. It doesn't bother me that my groom will not be seeing me for the first time as I am walking down the aisle. Although he will have already seen me, I feel that the emotions are different at that moment, for both of us. Our reception is immediately following the ceremony and we both really want to take some time to relax at the CH and mingle with our guests. Then let the party begin !

I’m seeing him before the ceremony too…I kinda like the idea of him getting to see me all done up before eveyrone else, and it will be nice to have a few moments alone together and be able to enjoy our CH!

We didn't see each other before the ceremony. It was the most amazing feeling seeing DH for the first time while I was walking down the aisle.

We saw each other before the Ceremony. It worked out wonderfully. We were able to be at our cocktail hour.

I want to see him when I go down the isle....I didnt pic a certian church because the doors were glass and he'd see me before they opened....yes i am that bad (bridezilla here)

I'd probably be more traditional if we were having a church wedding but since CH is right afterwards...I don't want to miss a minute of what I am paying for!! LOL!

same here. we'll set up a nice first meet at the hotel and then off to take pics before the ceremony.

I am with you on this one! We are ABSOLUTELY seeing one another before the wedding to take pictures. We do not want to miss one minute of our wedding!!
Our BM and photographer are going to light the room with candles and have him turned around and then when we see each other, it will just be us and a photog to capture the moment

I refuse to miss cocktail hour, but also refuse to see him before. So Im giving my photogrpaher 15 minutes for pictures. And thats it. I want mostly candids anyway. And we should be able to get a decent amount done in 15 minutes.

I didn't want to see eachother before the ceremony but DH did not want to miss cocktail hour !! Dilemma dilemma. So we decided to meet before hand. It was just me & him which was the best thing we did !! When I walked down the aisle I was so nervous cause everyone was staring at me I barely remember looking at DH...but I'll never forget our moments before the ceremony I never thought I'd say it but I liked the private moment better and DH was right lol

we are seeing each other before the ceremony. We're having photos done with the bridal party at OWG and our videographer will capture the moment we first see each other there.

We are doing pictures during the day. Our wedding is at night. A lot of my friends saw each other before the ceremony and they highly recommend it.
