Sending out Invites

When is it acceptable to send out invites? Im getting married in July and I was going to send them out in May as the RSVP date is June 15th. Im so excited to get them out that Im ready to send them today lol

Sending out Invites

I'm getting married June 21 and I am sending mine out at the end of this month with a May 24 RSVP date. I don't want to send them too early and people put them to the side and forget (even though some people do this regardless).

I sent mine out a few days after the 3 month mark. I think you could do late April/early May. I mean really... who complains about getting an invitation to early?

My invitations were semi-DIY so once I finished them, my FH was like just send them! We were going to send them out in a week anyway (3 month mark) and a lot of my guests were going crazy waiting for the invitation! We ended up sending ours a week before the three month mark.

We sent ours out 2 months (& a week!) before! I don't see why sending them out early would be a problem!

IMO 4-5 weeks prior to the RSVP date is appropriate, unless it's a holiday weekend then maybe a little earlier.
You don't want to send them out too soon becuase you still need to wait for them to come back and waiting is sooo annoying!
