I know..i'm not exactly make the boards less controversial...but I'm not asking this to start controversy, but rather just for my own knowledge...

Does anyone consider themselves to be pro-life? As someone who is pro-life with reservations (i think should be ok in cases of rape, incest, & endangerment to the mother) I just always feel in the minority. Which i know i am...I grew up in a big irish catholic family who ingrained in my head that life began at conception..and that every life is precious. I am trying to figure out things for myself, and really understand my views...

One thing i'd like to add is that i would never press my beliefs upon someone else-I know abortion is one of the hardest things a woman could ever decide to do. Just wanted to know if anyone felt similar to me in their own personal belief system?

i am watcing it on the site... but its really fuzzy.. also, she is double what i was.... if i was any further along i wouldnt have goen through with it

its also very obviously against abortion, so it makes it worse

yeah I know what you mean..thats what tears me apart..not early abortions so much but when you carry the life and then just change your mind after you have felt someone move in your tummy or see them on the Sono especially when the baby is healthy.

its not something i EVER wanted to do, or will ever do again. i felt guilty going into it and still do. but i just try to tell myself that it wasnt a baby, it was a clump of cells, which i have to say, i honestly belive it still was. i just think 'what if' ALOT.

i try not to think about it because theres nothing i can do about it now. i'll just wait until the day comes when trhat baby comes back to me... i feel it will be the same one... not scientifically, but i think you know what i mean

thats a natural way to think of it.. it is celss with the potential to have a viable life. There are human ways to have an abortion and inhumane ways..what you are watching on the site is the inhumane way IMO.

Early the baby doesnt have any senses and is unaware of so much but after the 1st trimester..Ok..I am getting teary thinking about it.

This is a hard topic for me. I was in the position where I literally could have ended my pregnany becasue I could have endangered my life so I am very informed..my doc said..tooo informed... Since then I counsel pregnant women through a group called sidelines.

even though i am pro-choice that doesnt mean i'm pro-abortion... i think that many people see it that way, when thats not how it really is.

I know exactly what you mean. I am pro choice to an extent. I think that there needs to be a cut off point as to when a woman could have one.

me too. at a certain point it becomes unreal that they do it... IMO

off topic but did you know they do abortions on dogs too? people kept telling me to get tink an abortion.. weird...

Yes we did after I spent the entire pregnancy on bedrest and had a hig risk doctor, nurses, at home monitoring and a buttload of medication. She cost as much as a couple spend on a nicu baby.
Here is my story..BTW we counted..it was 14 times in the hospital not 10 lolhttp://www.sidelines.org/march_vol03.htm

well at least everything was alright afterwards... thats the important thign.. my biggest fear is dying while giving birth... i thought i was going to die during the abortion too.

ohhh the million dollar question.

YES! l would. We are planning to try next year. Extra scary for me and hubby considering everything we went through but she brings us so much joy that I would do it 10 times over.
