I know..i'm not exactly make the boards less controversial...but I'm not asking this to start controversy, but rather just for my own knowledge...
Does anyone consider themselves to be pro-life? As someone who is pro-life with reservations (i think should be ok in cases of rape, incest, & endangerment to the mother) I just always feel in the minority. Which i know i am...I grew up in a big irish catholic family who ingrained in my head that life began at conception..and that every life is precious. I am trying to figure out things for myself, and really understand my views...
One thing i'd like to add is that i would never press my beliefs upon someone else-I know abortion is one of the hardest things a woman could ever decide to do. Just wanted to know if anyone felt similar to me in their own personal belief system?

Re: Sensitive topic but curious to know..
not really.. I enjoyed being pregnant even though I was so miserable most of the time lol.
I found the right doctor and now that we know what we are dealing with..I am more confident the 2nd time. All docs are not the same. I had a crappy 1st doctor but the high risk doctor was a Godsend.
ETA: I changed docs during my pregnancy..thats how we both survived.

Re: Sensitive topic but curious to know..
well every pregnancy is different. I stll have problems with my BP even after birth so that probably will return and have to be controlled. My cervix..definitely we think will have to be monitored but can be controlled with bedrest but hyperemesis..give me the meds baby. I wouldnt subject my worst enemy to hyperemesis.

i saw that video...they used to air it every saturday night on 55. it is VERY anti-abortion, but still a good video to see. i will agree. but no matter what, my stand is still this...as long as people are having sex, accidental pregnancies will occur and therefore, abortion needs to be a safe option. jmo

Yes its a good video to see. I think anyone going to have an abortion should see what the procedure actually is. Yes accidental pregnancies occur, but there are alot who choose to keep their baby just as some do not. I dont think we can regulate 1st trimester abortions but the late term ones need some kind of intervention to protect them.

Re: Sensitive topic but curious to know..
Pro-choice...whether im comfortable with it or not is not the point..its the person in that position...hence why its a CHOICE. For any of you who haven't been 'knocked up', how would u know what you would decide. Never had one, dont think I ever could, but I'm not everyone and I totally agree with anyone who feels they for whatever reason can't have a baby. Yes I believe in adoption and what not, but thats not as easy as it sounds...and I dont think 15 year old girls should be mothers...but i dont believe abortion should be a form of birthcontrol..but if i had to have it one way or the other i think every woman and couple deserves the choice!
