Sent out STD last week and then found out I'm pregnant!

Ladies...I could use some help!

Last year my doctor told me i could never get pregnant without invitro because my fallopean tubes were constricted. Well, I think the fertility test opened them because yesterday I found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant! No medical intervention involved! Every baby is a miracle....but this one really is....

Everything seems healthy so far and next week we should hear the heartbeat. After that we will decide to move up our wedding from Sept to May/June. My target due date is mid November.

Here is the twist. I JUST mailed the save the date cards last week! I want to find a clever, fun way to send a change of date/invite without really announcing the pregnancy because I'd have to mail the invites in April and b/c it is still early my doc said to wait a little before we tell people. do i just say we couldn't wait until fall because we're so excited???

so...that's my pickle (no pun intended, well, maybe a little). any thoughts?

when the baby is born some people may be pissed that you lied. i like a tiny fib better or just the truth. although most people should understand why u couldnt tell the truth so soon. congrats and lots of luck <3

I should hope no one would be pissed!!!

Congrats!

I think no reason is the best reason. Just send out one like someone above mention 'we just cant wait and we found a better date!'

If anyone questions it, just say you decided you would rather move it up to sooner. And thats it.

BUT be preprarent because people might guess that you are pregnant!

Ok....for instance my enagement is short, 6 months....what is wrong with that!? Nothing. But...people asked if I WAS PREGNANT! WOW!

I wouldn't even explain, i'd just send out an 'oops' save the date with a funny picture where you both have the uh-oh hand over the mouth kinda look... and say something like:

Oops!
We sent you the card
Before we were sure
We're changing our date
'Cause we like this one more!

Save the NEW date!
Our wedding will now be on May blah blah blah, and this time we mean it!

Formal invitation to follow...

I don't think anyone should EVER be pissed. You don't want to announce it yet because you're high risk, right?

That is tough...I'm sure you want to shout it from the roof tops! Ok, ask the doc when you think you can tell people. If it's soon, send the invite with the baby announcement...what a cute invite that could be!!!!

Maybe just write that the date has changed, no biggie...unless u want to announce your pregnancy in a cute way!!!

That test DOES and can open your tubes and become super fertile...Its the one were they run dye thorugh them correct....This is super great news for you!!! All in Gods plan!

wonderful news, so happy for you....this just happened to one of my friends, same situation with the save the dates, and she just sent out the invitations, and everyone pretty much knew already anyway....Good Luck to all of you
