I was just interested in getting some ideas for my September wedding next year. What color schemes are good for that month. I was planning to have the BM's wear a wine / burgundy color for their dresses. I think that is just a classy color. Can you ladies post some pictures of your bouquets and centerpieces please or any other ideas you may have. I am open for opinions an suggestions........

I struggled with this too I ended up going with tiffany blue and white because the weddings at the end of the summer and it's near the water. I am having a hard time finding the exact color for the ribbon, invitations, BM dresses, you name it -- honestly, it's a pain in the a s s and I wish I'd gone with red.

i was in my bf wedding and we wore brown and she had yellow, reddish flowers....she got married sept 23. ill try posting pics to help.
how about orange, and deep reds ? teh trow in some pink or a lighter color.....its borderine summer/fall.......
my friedn had a nov wedding and used all differnt types of sunflowers it was so pretty

I got married a few days before you......my girls wore lilac dresses and carried ivory roses and green cymbidium orchids. I had calla lily centerpieces at the reception

I am doing rose pink, celadon green and gold. My bridesmaid dresses are rose pink. They will carry bright green orchid boks and have gold jewelry and gold shoes. The centerpieces will be pink, green, peach tones and will be on gold tablecloths (a satin with a chiffon overlay) with gold moroccan votives. And my cake will be gold too (I hope!!):

I did mostly cream and white Roses with hydranges since they were in season. Off set by my theme color Tiffany blue.

I absolutely LOVE the gold votives on your table! I've been LOOKING for some like that, but can't seem to find them. Where did you get them? Were they provided by your caterer-coordinator, or did you order them from someplace? I'm DESPARATE!

I got married in September 2006. My girls wore wine color. My flower girl wore pink so my flowers were a combination of those colors.
