Serendipity

Has anyone ate at Serendipity? I have never been there and I didn't know till recently that they also serve food.

i went there a long time ago... food is nothing special but dessert is REALLLLLy good.... the lines can get really crazy though so i suggest you go on an off day

I go there occasionally..I never had the food but the deserts are amazing...but make sure you have time when you go because the wait is usually 1 hour - 1 1/2

I went to go get ice cream there and the wait for an eternity so my friend made us leave but then the board of health closed them down due to rats but they cleaned up their act I heard...

I went there last Feb. Food was ok but I had some brownie chocolate ice cream bowl thingy and it was SOOOO good!!!! The frozen hot chocolate is good too :)

ETA: FH and I sat in the same seat that the couple sat in during the movie...or atleast that is what they told us lol

Went there over the holidays & left... 3 hour wait.

Should have made reservations.... if you want to go be sure to make them LOL

yes they are open again. it is better to go late night so you don't have to wait as long.

i haven't had the food, but have had the desserts. personally, i think it is overrated...but i guess its just somewhere to go just so u can say u went.

We went there one Saturday night. The wait was lonnngggg ( I think it was almost 2 hours)...But we walked around the city (burned off calories before we ate them ) The dessert was really good. I had some peanut butter thing...I liked it.

Yeah, they are directly across the Tram (Trolley Car that goes up in the air over the east river from where I live Roosevelt Island, into Manhattan) in Manhattan... its a great little place... Hard to find because its like a small store front but once you do its a great place....
