Seriously freaking out about photographers!

This is the thing, I want beautiful photos but I also want to keep it in perspective. I dont want to spend 7,000 just for photos. I want to have photojournalism and traditional shots. I want a wonderful video that captures the day. I want it all! I am seriously considering DUET because I have read amazing reviews and saw many great pictures but how do you choose what team? ANy suggestions would be great! Link to pictures would be wonderful! Price quotes would be appreciated! Any advice or thoughts?

IMO any photographer who is part of Duets team is awesome! At the time I didn't know you can choose the team of your choice and went with whoever and ended up getting Alberto's team because I wanted mostly photojournalism and LOVE my pictures, they did a GREAT job!!

I can't wait to see my album and my video

Have you looked into anyone but Duet? I recommend Gary Leli. He does great work and will work with your budget!

I remember loving your proofs! They were gorgeous - you are the reason I was set on Duet. Plus, your black magic roses are something I have to have as well. And we both know what our secret 'connection' is. Hows life as Mrs. ____ anyway? I hope its treating you well - we will have the same last name in 605 days

Another suggestion besides duet woul be jenniferdavisphotography.com. Her most expensive package is $1600. She is great -- wondefful energy and has been doing this for some time. Her studio is in NYC and she works for the knot. HTH. FM me if you want more info.

i was just going to recommend the same thing...my final choice came down between Gary and Duet... we went with Gary... his prices were great too!

Our photographer was very good. We were all photojournalism and some traditional. We used Andreas Rentsch, A Candid Affair. I will FM you some photos and info.

I am using Duet ...my enagagement photos were fabulous! I loved the mix of tradition and photojournalism...We had Jays team! He is so easy to work with... I highly recommend Duet and JAys team

I'm using Lavendar Bridal Studio...I'm getting all traditional..but they do photojournalism. and very reasonable!

Justine....you are not alone on this topic! Matt and I of course want nice pictures too, with a mix of traditional and photojournalistic but are in no position to pay $7,000!! Good luck with your search and keep me updated!!

Velvet Studio was AMAZING---we had one traditional photographer and one photojournalist....our album is up (few albums down here

You can find what you want for under $7K--Good Luck!!!

I agree that $7K is ridiculous.

I'm using Verdi and paying $4500 which includes 2 photographers, all our proofs and our album. I fell in love with their pics and probably would've paid even more for them...
