For some reason, my FH is under the impression that he cannot hear or see wedding dresses of ANY kind before the wedding! If I walk past a bridal shop with him and say 'oh that dress is pretty!' He will REFUSE to look at it because it's 'bad luck'.. He knows I bought my dress over a month ago and I can point out something and tell him it looks NOTHING like my dress but he still wont look!! It really is quite cute actually!

OMG, I have soooo much trouble not showing him, but he does NOT want to see it at all. If he said he wants to see it, I would show him. its soooo frustrating, I just want him to see it, cause I love it soo much. btw, colleen, do you have pics????

LOL! I handed FH the David's Bridal catalog and said to him my dress is in here try to see if you can pick it out . He told me there were too many but he has seen the dress just not with me pointing it out!

I had that same thought when I came home from ordering mine. Luckily I at least told him the color which helped me realize I needed to call and change the color from ivory to white.

Also, get a magazine and have him look through it. See what styles he likes. I did this with Pat after I got my dress to see what he likes. Luckily, he likes the lacey ones! I also gave him fake details. I told him I am going to look like a big poofy princess at my sweet sixteen!

Since my FH cannot be trusted and my cat was fascinated by the train, my dress is now at FSIL's house and will stay there until right before the wedding.

I'm so anxious for him to see it but I DONT WANT HIM TOO!! and FH is so funny he doesn't want to know ANYTHING about it.... I was telling him about when I ordered it I was in between sizes and went back and forth, but the 'corset back will give me some leeway' and he FLIPPED OUT on me.... LOL! he was like, 'Now I know it's a corset back! Stop I don't want to know!!!' lmao, like that give anything away of what it looks like!!
be strong and don't show him.... that moment will be sooo worth it!!

So I went dress shopping for the first time yesterday after work (solo!) and as I was trying things on (good and bad) i was wondering what it would be like if I had FH with me...but I know I will hold off because I want to surprise him the day he sees me walking down the aisle. And I quote exactly what FH said ' I trust your choice in dress...your goal is to make me cry!'..lmao
That is prob what makes be NOT show him..to surprise him as he sees me in my gown in Church. very emotional (tearing up a lil now.... )

This is sooooooooooooo hard! I made my FH look at a few I like.... I really want him to like it as well.... so then I asked him how he thinks I will look.... Because I'm still thinking about that light pink dress.... and he said well I see you wearing white....blah blah blah... So I asked him what if I wasn't wearing white but a very light color instead. He said for me to do whatever I want.
