My father decided to call me today to let me know not to depend on him for the wedding. My engagement party was this weekend and neither one of my parents showed. His excuse is he had something better to do then go to a party that means nothing.

*****sorry girls noone else is around and fh is at work so I just had to get it out

So sorry to hear the problems your having with your parents, but just remember you have tons of others out there who love and support you. Don't stress with peple that try to bring you down!

i'm sorry to hear this i too have some parent issues going on your not alone... i am glad that you have your brother I know it sucks but your wedding will be beautiful and full of joy with or without them... we're always here if you need anything

So sorry and mad for you that you have to deal with this. I know it is not the same as a parent but my sister is doing the same thing. I hope we can both find some piece of mind.

However I have decided not to invite her at all. I do not want to set myself up for disappointment the day of.

oh no, Im so sorry that you have to deal with that I'm glad that at least your brother is there for you. People just s uck sometimes, but it should never be your own parents!
