shallow question...physical appearance

is or was there something about ur SO or an ex's appearance that u at first did not really like but it eventually grew on u b/c u loved there overall look and there personality? im not trying to b shallow at all just genuinly interested..
i would never just wanna b judged on how i look, i want someone to see me for all of me but we all kno that so many things r based on someone elses appearance. thanks all! Michi

actually no...I am usually very attracted to someones appearance in the beginning...This is when i am the most shallow i guess.
If i am not attracted or turned off by something, that usually ends it for me

well..... im alot younger than my FH and the only thing that bothers me really is his receeding (sp?) hairline..... god i hate it!!! i love long hair on men.

lol..DH will kill me. But at first I totally did not find him all that cute. I was so used to the cyclists and cross trainer types, model types and he was just a plain guy but his personality won me over and he became instantly attractive. Physical fades when you get old so there better be more when your boobs are hanging and his belly is over his belt buckle

I always thought FH was a dork. I wasn't attracted to him at first. Our relationshp was never based on physical appearance, but I am attracted to him. I can't stand that he has these HUGE protruding lips. uggh..I just hope our kids don't have them. And I'm totally not into him when he dons't hsave...I'm like 'eww..stay away'...but then he wins me over anyway

I'm with you ladies on the dork thing. DH used to have these huge glasses that practically covered his entire face. He eventually grew on me.

There were a few things physically about him I wanted to change...and I did. Nothing a good barber coulnd't fix. He had and still has a really cute butt.

DH was definitely NOT my type when we first met. I go for big teddy bear types or the bad boy look (tattoos, etc.). Here comes Mr. Clean Guido-wannabe who was much thinner than I was and had the whole spiked hair thing going on. Didn't seem to matter, opposites attracted and I was looking for something different. I sure got different alright

Dh is sort of stocky, and I usually NEVER went for that. ANd he's only a little taller than me, and I usually only dated taller guys (my ex fiance was 6' 4'). So i wasn't instantly attracted to his body, but I thought his face was still cute.

I didnt find FH that attractive at first glance. The second time I saw him, I was like WOW..what was wrong with me...so nothing had to grow on me.

i always told my fh to wear a hat ALL THE TIME! cause it makes him look sooooooo old! but then 1 day i was joking around with him and had an interview and said let me rubyour bald spots for good luck and it worked!!! i love my job ! and im very successful, and i still today belive it was me rubbing his head =)
