Re: Share your favorite childhood Christmas/Hanukkah memory
Smelling my mom's cooking on Christmas Eve and, of course, waiting for Santa and then seeing all my gifts on Christmas morning. My dad would video tape everything and being the only girl I was in every picture. If you were to ask my brothers now they would tell you that I was the princess. What I really remember and love is doing all of that for my own sons and can't wait to help do it for their children.

Hi Liz!! Love your memory!! It's snowing here. Mom and I went to eat breakfast at Perkins, then to get her coumadin checked, and finally to Wal-Mart, our home away from home! On the way, traveling Rt. 222, which is a 65mph hwy. we saw a van, flipped on it's side, in the median. The hwy is notorious for speeders; One would think that 65 is fast enough!! I got a disk of my MRI results in the mail. I guess the Dr. will also get the results, but as yet have not. I'm half tempted to play the disk, and diagnose myself!! Oh, well, I'll wait. My poor Debi Bride has to get her car fixed. It's the air compressor , which means she can't run the heater, or the power steering will go out. She got one quote of $2000 to fix it, but my Husband suggested she go to our garage. I think I'm helping her with that tomorrow. Have a great evening!! Mary

Hi Mary, I love Perkins...they have great pancakes and Macy's is my home away from home. Yes you would think 65 is fast enough, but you know how people are they will go over the limited just to go over the limit. Oh I'm sorry for Debi...it seems she is having a run with a little bad luck right now, but that will change and everything will then be perfect for her wedding. Liz

Hi Liz!!!! We're getting some snowflakes again today. I wish Lancaster had an IHOP!!! Their commercials look so appetizing!!! I called my Dr. office, a bit ago. I was told the written MRI report would probably come in today, and my Dr. is working today and tomorrow, so he can read it and get back to me. Haven't heard from Debi on the state of her car. Think I'll call her. Grandson coming tonight. Have a wonderful weekend!!!!! And a wonderful weekend to all you Moms!!! Mary
