My fsil (16 this week) just got her CHIN pierced. If that was me at the age, my mother would have held a needle over a flame and said, 'i'll do it.' It would have freaked me out and I would not have done it. I think 16 is a little young to be getting piercings with the exception of ears.
Just hope it does not clash with pink bridesmaid dress.

I think it is way below the mouth. You know the group Metallica, I think the bassist has it? Also Christine Aguilera, but she is getting into the punk scene and death metal.
A few years ago, she was into hanson.

Steve's niece has all sorts of piercings and tatoo's. I always tell him not our kid. By the time she's 40 she's going to look like swiss cheese

Ok I am glad it is not just me. I can't believe his mom would allow this. I think it would scar if she ever decides to take it out? And she really is such a pretty girl.
I also am hoping she takes it out for the wedding but then I would imagine she'll have a hole. I would not ask her to step out of it because I think that is mean but couldn't she have waited??? Like maybe until she is 18????

Oh, you mean 'labrette' which is basically your lower lip. I actually always wanted that one (well, not anymore). I used to have a nose ring and a tongue ring and I always wanted my labrette done... but I'm way too old now! Better 16 than 26!
She'll grow out of it, don't worry.

That is the one piercing that freaks me out! It must be so irritating to your lower gums! I can take the the nose, eyebrow, tongue, nippies and even your taco but the chin one............................EWwwwwwwwwwwwww

I just realized my friend's son (who is very fresh) has an earring and he is eight or nine years old. She said that she is trying to talk him into getting another piercing in the top of his ear and also getting one for her six year old. What? Her older kid is so bad. She lets him do whatever he wants (hits people and talks back to everyone). I don't know what is wrong with her. I don't talk to her much anymore because I can't stand the way she raises her kids and I refuse to be around them. I'm wondering what's wrong with her too.

My mom always put the fear of GOD into me. lol. 'If I ever catch you smoking, I will break every bone in your body' My mom was a 2 pack a day person but she quit 25 years ago for health reasons. But she is the sweetest thing though. I felt like I did something wrong I was disrespecting her.
I think they are afraid of saying no so they give them these things.

My friend is the one who convinced her son to get his ear pierced. I think she is losing it. Why the heck would a mom tell her little boy to do that?
