she is in DOGGIE HEAVEN now
i went last night with my fam to say goodbye to her and to put her to sleep.
i was crying the whole time it was so hard to handle when everyone is hugging her and crying and she is just looking at you like' whats going on' the second they brought her into the room my dad ran over to her and hugged her for so long.
i have NEVER seen my dad cry . he had to leave the office because he could not handle it.
my mom , sister ,fi and myself stayed to put her to sleep . it was the worst thing i had to go through
i love that dog sooooo much
she has been in our family for 15years
i cried my self to sleep last night.(with her doggie bed as my pillow)
i kept waking up during the night cause i thought i heard her bark or snore(she was a snorer). it is so heart breaking
im sorry this is not wedding talk but i just need to talk to people who understand what i am going through

Nicole, I'm so sorry for your loss. You have to remember that your dog is in a better place and not suffering. My thoughts are with you as you and your family cope.

I can't even imagine the day that I will have to put my yellow lab to sleep...Our pets become such BIG parts of our families that it is like you are losing a sibling...Remember though, she is in a better place & not suffering!

Re: she is in DOGGIE HEAVEN now
I am so sorry you had to go throught this. My eyes are teary just reading what you wrote. I am a sap when it comes to animals. I had a dog and 2 cats and they all died (2 had to be put to sleep and my cat died) all within a year and a half. Have you know I had these pets for 14 years!!! It is heartbreaking, I still cry for them and it has been 3 years

Re: she is in DOGGIE HEAVEN now
So sorry about your loss. Maybe this can help ease the pain a little...
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Im so sorry about this, it is so hard to part from a pet! I do not how attched you get to them, and think that they will be there forever, but unfortunatly thats not the case. A dogs lifespan is so sad, i wish it was longer! Be well and think of all the good times you had with your baby!

Re: she is in DOGGIE HEAVEN now

I'm so sorry, I've been through this too. It's so hard. I refused to have another pet for years afterwards.
Remember she loves you and has no doubt you love her. Isn't it kinda cool to think that her litter mates and her mother and past dogs of your friends were waiting to greet her.
Again, I'm so sorry , I know how absolutely painful this can be. Don't deny yourself the feelings, and I hope you can find peace with it.

Re: she is in DOGGIE HEAVEN now
I've had to put two cats to sleep, and had to watch one (she was so old and dehydrated that the doctor had to shave her and stick the needle in like 4 or 5 times before he could inject her) It was the most horrible thing I have ever seen but I wouldnt have left her alone for anything. I cried for days..I feel so bad for you, im so sorry!!!

Re: she is in DOGGIE HEAVEN now
It is heartbreaking. Our family went through the same thing with Muffin, our 13 yr old German Shepard mix. You have to just keep thinking of all the good times and how happy she was with your family. I am sorry.
