A while back I posted about wedding shoes and I never really came to any final decision. I am a total shoe person, I love shoes. Shoes will be important on my wedding day - I love heels and would also love to keep them on the whole day. I always do - I never take them off at weddings to dance or anything. I suffer, haha. Anyway, I'm posting a picture of my dress and then the second picture is a belt I also am getting to wear when I remove the tulle skirt with the double faced satin bow. So, my shoes have to work with both the tulle skirt and my gown underneath (which you can see kind of in the pic is all lace, ivory) with this belt. Any suggestions are appreciated - I'm open to color, willing to spend, especially if they can be worn again. Help meeeeee!!!! TIA!!
I the belt silver or gold? I can't tell from the pic. Also I prefer a closed toe or peep, (but thats just my own personal preference). I am a shoe girl myself and these are some of the ones I am thinking about.
1st:Badgley Mischka 2nd Manolos - I can only find them in blue right now, but I have seen in gold and silver. 3rd. Loubs - might be too 'tough-looking' for your dress. 4th - Manolos
I found them on myglassslipper.com. Whats cool is that their dyables so after the wedding they can be any color...

Re: Shoe help . . .
This is all great - I love the Jimmy Choo's with the buckle and the same with the blue Manolo's - my concern about both of these is that their embellishment would clash with the belt. I don't really remember the belt too much, but I think it was silver, not gold. I love the D'Orsay Manolo's too - but I guess I would have to get them in silver . . . right?

Re: Shoe help . . .
i got these from the knot... they have rea;;y cute ones, they just updated all their assortment
first 2 and last one are badgley mischka and 3rd in guiseppe zanotti
The silver CL's that RAK220 posted are the shoes that I wore to my sisters wedding, I now wear them to work, I was scared they were 'tough' looking when I purchased them online, but in person they look much more feminime and I get complemenets on any event I wear them to!

i am totally favoriting this thread- BTW!
I think you silver is probably better than gold based upon the picture, not sure how it looks in real life.
I really like the GZ shoes that Joanna posted! they are so feminine!
Dierdraday - question re: the CLs. Did the leather part near the peep-toe stretch? I have a peep-toe pair of his that are so stretched out! Just curious if its my foot or the shoe...

I have super wide feet so they stretched for me, but all my shoes do, my sister's did to a lesser extent and she has normal people feet.

Re: Shoe help . . .
Thank you guys - and for all the nice things about my dress - I am definitely in love, haha.
I am notebooking this thread too.
The shoes are so important because the gown underneath is a sheath, no train or bustle or anything! It actually even has a kick pleat in the back so it shows some leg - and SHOE!!
