I found a great pair of shoes, so comfy. I have one problem. My right foot slips forward in the shoe when I have stockings on. My feet are wide near the toes, and I have like no heel. The shoes I bought were the best of what I found, and I really want to wear them. Does anyone have advice for what I could put in the shoe to make my foot stick, and stop slipping forward? You can view the shoe in my pictures under wedding stuff. Any advice would be great.

Re: Shoe Question-Please Help
I was going to suggest an ankle strap but then I saw that your shoe already has one. Tying the ankle strap tight should hold your ankle in place and prevent your foot from slipping forward. Perhaps the shoe you purchased is too big? Maybe go one half size smaller?

the easiest thing would be to just wear no stockings. You said it slips forward with the stocking on. YOu'll see most brides now dont even wear stockings so you dont have to

I agree. Your shoes are sandals, you don't need to wear stockings with strappy sandals.

I would either go without stockings or if you must get the toeless that will help a little since your toes won't be covered.
Also try foot peddles. I love these they stick into the shoe to prevent sliding.

either go without stockings, or you can buy cushioned inserts that will stick to the shoe. It might provide enough friction to keep your foot from sliding forward, plus it will make your shoes more comfortable to wear. I think Dr. Scholls makes them, but I'm not actually sure what brand they are. I know you can find them where shoe inserts are sold. I've used them before for dressy sandals, and they stay put and help keep your foot in place in your shoe.

Thanks so much ladies for all the advice! I will be going without stockings. It makes the most sense. I didn't really want to wear them anyway. The only reason I thought I might wear them, is because the wedding is Jan and everyone keeps telling me how cold I will be. I am going to try those stickies things, for the stick and the extra comfort.

Right by the checkout in DSW, there are racks of accessories for your shoes. I think they sell a pad that sticks on to the inside sole of the shoe to keep your feet from slipping forward.
