I am not a shoe person at all. I can't walk in heels without tripping over my feet. (i'm very graceful, too, lol) Honestly, I'd rather go barefoot.
I found these shoes and I think they MAY MATCH the champagne accents on my diamond white gown. http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?showAll=1&pageSize=8&style=S348
Opinions please? Do you think they'll look good, or too casual, or what? they'll mostly be under my dress, or better yet, OFF.
HONEST opinions PLEASE! i won't be insulted if you say they're terrible! i'll probably get em anyway, cuz they're $20, and would look cute with something else.....
there we go, i made it a poll so you can hate my shoes anonymously.
OK I chose Other haha....I don't think they will necessarily look 'Great,' but I think they're cute and it would be fine! I am toying with wearing flats similar to this also for comfort's sake, and our dresses are kind of similar (slim line Maggies)....I would say go for it! you want to be comfortable! and even if you decide not to wear them for the wedding, i'm sure you would wear those all the time!

Re: Shoes
I say for $20, get em anyway, because they are cute. And then, try it on with your dress....walk around a bit....if you like how it looks and feels, go for it.

Re: Shoes
I think they are great, and what matters is that youa re comfortable on your wedding day!
Honestly most of the time you can barely see the shoes you are wearing, as your dress usually falls to the floor. if you are most comfy in flats than go for it. Just make sure your dress is at the right length. and if you are getting it hemed you might want to decide soon if you are wearing flats of heals, so you can determine the lenght of the dress!

Re: Shoes
I like the style but I'm not loving the color with diamond white. I also think that you can find a dressier shoe that you'll be able to walk in....
I'm on it!
ETA: Can we see a picture of your dress?

Re: Shoes
i'm a huge fan of sandals, but those shoes are not my style. Maybe those shoes would be good as your comfy shoes for the day? could you wear heals just for the pics & ceremony, etc?

that being said i'm not a big fan of the shoe itself, but the color of the band on the shoe (that holds your foot to the sole) may look ok. i'm not a fan of the buckle or the sole. maybe something a little more monochromatic? also, have you tried on your dress yet (not the sample). i have to say it's much whiter on a new dress (not hospital white but my sample was more like the pic on the website, but the new ones look much cleaner).
i bought a pair of shoe for the dress thinking they'd be perfect, but they were a bit too dark (didn't look right). not a big deal since they were on sale and i'll wear them with something else, but still irritating. i've since given up matching and am going with green and sparkly b/c it's more me. if i see anything though i'll let you know. =0)
ETA: you can probably get away with gold too, especially if you carry it over into your jewelry. that or pearly white.
