I posted both options for BM dresses in my BM album. Its a truffle like chocolate brown. One is short ruffle and one is long ruffled...
So my debate... I like the short one because I like the ruching sp? In the middle and they all fit perfect so wont need to be hemmed I figure they can get use out of it again. But im having trouble finding shoes I like to match I want them all to have the same.
Long one I like because I feel like its more flattering and a bit more elegant. I dont like the bow I think it sits weird and without it the seem looks odd. This dress theyd have to hem and fix the bow somehow but IwIwouldnt have to worry about shoes as much.
Girls say they like both. Im at a loss!!

I think it depends on your wedding. Is is night or afternoon? Casual or formal?
For a night wedding I think long, especially since its a Saturday. I debated doing short n everyone said no for Sat night.
I vote for the long dress. I personally think that especially think for the time of year your wedding is... the longer dress is more appropriate as well.
Is there anyway they can remove the bow? I know I've seen dresses like this with the pickups and all with no bow.

I like both dresses. I think it depends on the look you are going for. The long dresses look very ballgown to me. If you want it to look very formal then go with the long. If you want it to look a little bit more relaxed then I'd go with the short.

btw you're getting married on my birthday, 10/5!
also, my sister's wedding is in early November and we are in short dresses. They look very fall because of the color and we will be wearing closed-toe shoes. So go with your gut on the dress, either one will look really great!

I read somewhere that the bridesmaids dresses should not reflect your dress bc you don't want them to take the spotlight away from your dress. But if you pick the shorter one, I think it could work. The longer one may be too similiar in my opinion. Also, as them what they like!

This is what I think which is why I went with the short one originally because it was similar but not too similar.

I actually prefer the short one! But it really depends on how formal your wedding is. If your wedding is formal and at night, go with the long one.

I like the short one so much better. As far as the shoes.. I think you should go with gold shoes to match the jewelry (which is really pretty btw) and it shouldn't be hard to find a cute pair for everyone in that color.
If the long dress is too much like yours then I wouldn't pick it. Also, don't worry about the 'fall' too much with the short dress. Its actually only 2 wks after summer officially ends so it may still be warm at that time. My wedding is the day after yours and I of course have been checking weather wiz lol. If they end up being correct its going to be in the mid to upper 70's that wknd! lol

That was my thinking! Close enough to summer plus my venue is all indoors anyway. Yay weekend twin. Hope weather is right. Lol
