The long is gorgeous! You want a similar feel, formal or casual, to your dress for your bridesmaids. They are really pretty and appropriate, but wouldn't worry about them taking the spotlight away from you unless you were in a really casual dress.

I say the short one. If your ceremony is the day, thats what I would do. Why don't you ask your BMs. I had one vision and I showed them. Everyone had their opinion. So I asked them all to pick a dress and it turned out perfect! So just ask them. Good Luck!

I read somewhere that the bridesmaids dresses should not reflect your dress bc you don't want them to take the spotlight away from your dress. But if you pick the shorter one, I think it could work. The longer one may be too similiar in my opinion. Also, as them what they like!
David Tutera says this ALL the time!!
I like the long ones, but I think that the shorter ones would be flattering and unexpected. You already have the fall feeling in the color, and if you can find like a caramel or champagne colored shoe, it would be perfect. Like these:

Can the bow be taken off of the long dress since you dont like it? You could replace it with a pretty gold brooch. My MOH's dress has a flower in the same place, but we are having the seamstress snip it off and replace it with a brooch I bought from Ebay.Welcome New Vendors
