Hi ladies, I'm married and back from my honeymoon, everything was great and I will write more soon. The onlyt thing that is bothering me is the $210 I paid to upgrade my cake, I don't think it came out good and it was supposed to have gum paste and the design was clearly fondant and frosting. Please take a look in my album and tell me what you think....thanks
(look in the cake issue album) pic now added

Thanks for the feedback to the 2 of 55 people who viewed this. I'm going to pull the pictures until I see what the vendor does for me. Thanks!

I couldn't find the picture of the actual cake in your album...but if it didnt' come out to meet your expectations then definitely complain. you have every right to.

me neither, but i have a choice between rolling pin or benkerts and i might now choose benkerts...I would definitely bring the issue to the attention of the bakery though $216 for added costs to a cake is alot to not get what you asked for.

Re: should I complain about my wedding cake?
I didn't initially reply because I'm not sure what was promised vs the photo. If they made it sound like it would look just like the photo, I would def complain. If they said they'd replicate the photo in a different way and explained it ahead of time, then I can see that they did use it as inspiration. I can't speak to the materials though. If you didn't get the materials you paid for then DEFINITELY complains
