Should I go to the Dr's

Since Monday I have been getting this really weird feeling in my legs and now in my arms and wrists. It first started on my left leg then Tuesday was my right leg. Then yesterday was my wrist and today is my right arm (near the elbow-but on the inside). It is a weird feeling- doesnt feel like it is asleep...kinda feels like it is slightly burning. It doesn't hurt just more annoying. And I feel like wherever the pain is that body part feels so restless....it is soo weird. I told my mom she said to go to the doctor. But I hate the doctors. I know I prob should but I need re-inforcements!!

But anyway...anyone ever get these weird feelings. I mean it is soo weird I can't explain it. I was about to call the Doctor but then thought to myself do I say I need an appt because of this feeling or should I ask to talk to the doctor himself? IDK

and it is kinda worrying me. But I am one of those people who think I am going to die with any wrong feeling in my body. I could have a head ache and think I am having an anyrsum. I know I overreact. But I can't help but feeling I am having blot clots all over me or somethign?? UGHH CALM ME DOWN PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I know sometimes if you don't get enough calcium you get pins and needles more.

I can't calm you down because I always think I am dying too and I hate the DR as well. However, I would go to the DR. My mom had that on Monday and went to the DR ( she never goes, I think the last time she was at a dr was when my brother was born 10 years ago). Anyway, they are sending her for a stress test, so it might be worth it to go.

Yeah alot of girls are getting pains all of a sudden. I think its the humidity in the weather. pop a couple of advils and you should be good to go, if not then I would go to the docs

Catie, I would go to the dr. At the very least it will calm you down :) At best he could find something and help to fix it ASAP. CALL HIM! Maybe you could talk to him first before making an appt - tell the girls up front that you want to talk to him because you don't know if it's necessary for you to come in, etc.

that is true..i just feel silly talking to the doctor. i dont even know how to explain the feeling i am getting. should i just explain it as i explained to you guys??

cause it doesnt feel like pins and needles really it is weird.

yeah that is what my mom said it could be-- could just be stress...but i know i crack my elbow sometimes so when it went to my elbow today i didnt think anything of it then it started going into my wrists again and before lunch it was in my leg again

I would say call the doctor and if he has a chance just ask him what he thinks it might be (save you a trip perhaps). I know that with the change of the seasons people get more headaches and more body aches in general so it might not be anything serious. But, since its been going on for some time now, I would just run it by the doc to make sure. Hope you feel better

You should call your DR and speak to him. It may be nothing, but you should get it checked, particularly if is getting worse or spreading. You should explain it to him exactly as you did on here. I'm sure it's not blood clots, but you should get it checked just in case.

I would definitely go to the doc. You explained it very well here and its probably stress. Hopefully you can catch it early! FH just went to the doctor last week for some stomach pains he's been having for a month and it turns out he has an ulcer!?!? haha no you didnt make me nervous. But I watch too much House and CSI nad everything and everytime I have a problem I freak out haha.

So I called the Doctors office. And I swear they have morons working for them!! My god how hard is it to tell me the doctor is unavailable rihgt now and i will take your number down so they can call you back!

First they just answered the phone saying 'hello' so had no idea that it was the right number i dialed at first haha then i said my name and could I please speak with the doctor. She said well they are unavailable right now. but let me go check???!!!! Then she got back on the phone and said what is this in regards to. And I said well I would like to please speak with the doctor about certain symptoms I am having and to see if they would want me to come in for an appt. Then she asked me why I needed to ask the doctor if i could make an appt. So I had to repeat myself again!! And then she said well what are your symptoms? I said are you a nurse and she said no i am just the front desk asst. and then i said i would rather explain them to the doctor then. and she said whatever i will have him call you back!!!!!!!

haha thanks colleen. yeh and all day i have had a headache and i never get headaches so of course i think i am going blind or dieing or something ughh ...but i need to go to JT and my hphoto/video after work and sign new contracts so no rest yet

Oh dear.... some people just don't understand... Hopefully a doc will call you back soon; they were probably just busy with other patients but will call you before their next appointment... (at least from what i've experienced)

don't know if someone mentioned this to you. But i had this happen to me, it was soo weird & I also felt as if my arm was weaker. Well my future mom in law suggested I use her blood pressure monitor, & wouldn't know you my blood pressure was skyrocket high. I never even thought of that, but with stress, bad sleeping, or eating, it can affect no matter your age.
So if can rest up, relax as much as possible. do something to decompress.

If anything changes go to the doctor. My motto is that if you have insurance USE it. Go to the doctor while you are covered. It ***** when you do not have it. (i consult & have my own business, so the insurance rates for me would kill me)
