Shoulda Coulda Woulda's ( To the Newlyweds)

Heyy Newlyweds,

Now that the wedding is all said and done. Is there anything that you wish you could have done differently ? Do you have any regrets?

After reading this post - I was just curious on what LIW Newlyweds thought were

um... I would have eloped.

no, I would have gotten things in writing, I would have hired security, I would have booked a different hall, I would have demanded a different photographer, I would have made my dress shorter, I would have done my makeup differently, I would have worn my dress to the hotel, I would have gotten the pictures I wanted.
and I would have been a lot more bridezillaish.

I would've had video come to me while I was getting ready, not starting at church.

I should've given my photog a must-take list.

I shoulda given the photographer the pictures from bridal canvas

I coulda spoke to more guests instead of dancing like a maniac all night

I would not have hired a DOC who was getting married 4 days after me.

I would have eloped.

I would have listened to my gut when it came to a certain vendor.

I would have made sure my DOC's had a copy of my must take photo list.

I would have not let anyone upset me day of.

I would have enjoyed myself more.

Ditto both of these. Not that I'm not happy that I danced the night away, but it was probably poor etiquette.

We should have been more specific on allergies, had a reaction during the cocktail hour

Should have extended my DOC from a half day to a full day, she was awesome, and would have made hte rest of the day a lot smoother.

I would have taken more time with my family before the ceremony, with pictures we got kind of rushed with teh ketubah and rehearsal due to people arriving late.

I would have planned a coat to wear from the hotel to the hall... it was COLLLD

I would have taken the opportunity to go with DH to the bridal suite before we went to the cocktail hour... we didnt, and really didnt get a chance to stop after that point with photos and greeting people and dances.

I would have tried to talk my grandmother into a dance. My mother passed away a month before the wedding, and i could not talk my grandmother into dancing with me, and I wish we could have.

I wish I had given a more specific list of family members I wanted photos with, there arent that many pics of me with my grandmother, but TONS with DH's family

this is minor, but i would have paid more attention to my BM Bo-ks and GM bouts. i was soooo focused on my CPs that I never asked about that stuff and was a little disappointed with the outcome.

I would have also gotten ready with my BMs. I thought it would be too stressful and had them come ready to go. In retrospect, I bet it would have been such a fun morning to have them there while I was getting ready.

All of this EXEPT the DOC since I didn't have one!

DEF wish I listened to my gut on certain vendors!

I also woulda not let people put me down about the wedding and made me feel less important and the day wasn't as important as everyone else's wedding. It's something I have to live with.

I also woulda only done family and 1 friend in the bridal party and not 'felt bad' so I had to include a certain person.

Really Ladies? But I wanna enjoy myself - I really dont see myself meeting and greeting for 5hrs... maybe 2hrs but I think we all wanna party too. Thats great that you ladies had an awesome night

I dont regret dancing all night. People could talk to me any other time!

I would of done a destination wedding. at the end of the day all i needed was DH and family there b/c i feel weddings are over rated and are just another money hogging industry.....sucks that I feel this way but its the reality of it....but my wedding was beautiful none the less!

I would of never picked the MOH I did.
