I wouldn't have stressed and spent money over the small stuff like bathroom baskets, favors, table numbers, menus, etc.

Other then that, I really loved our day.

So i shoudl NOT stress myself on getting a Bathroom Basket then...???

I would have done more research video

I would have drank more

I agree with this - I was a bundle of nerves at the reception (just having everyone looking at us up at the sweetheart table), so i barely drank! I had so much fun, but my nerves kept me from really letting go completely...

Also be very clear on who you want in your posed family photos, as well as videography. While I love the pictures I have, I'm missing some that I really really wanted and if someone would've told me 'I know we've taken 1000 pictures, but we're missing you and your grandparents' I would've shut my mouth and smiled for more pics. Same for video - tons of friends in the video, not as much family as I would've hoped for. Friends are fun, but family is forever.

I agree with some of the above posters...

My only regret was that I stressed so much about minor details, that I did not enjoy the wedding planning process one bit.

My day was PERFECT for me, and there isn't a thing I would (or can) change.

Enjoy it because it goes fast.

To the future Brides...do one thing...
At some point in the night, grab your new husband, stap back from the dance floor and just watch for a minute or two. It is amazng to know that all of those people are there for YOU!

I would have eaten! I was having too much fun dancing and even though my planner and her assistant both reminded me to eat and even got me a few plates of food, I didn't stop to eat. Oh well, I'm sure it was good

Definitely do this!! DH and I had our dinner served to us 15 minutes before everyone else. This gave us time to eat on our own while everyone was dancing and we were able to sit back and watch. Was a great time in the night for us and it allowed us to go around to tables while they were eating. Also gave us a good excuse to go on to the next table - 'don't want to let your food get cold'.

Only thing I can really say is I woulda pulled my veil over my shoulders for some pictures - it just hung in the back for all of them which is fine but I didn't get much really showing it off.

Oh - and I shoulda had a printed list with me to give the DJ the day and not rely on the fact that he would have it. There were a lot of songs missed from our must play list - but our party was dancing the whole night so not a huge complaint.

Definitely don't stress over what can possibly happen. That's going to make you miss some things! I hate to be the bearer of bad news but there is chance of something going wrong (however little it may be). You cannot control every little detail. Hindsignt is always 20 20. Only recommendations I can give are be organized, give direction to your vendors about the specifics and trust they'll do the best they can. 90% of the things that do go wrong no one knows but you and possibly DH. The day goes by fast enough and if something does go wrong try your best to brush it off and get back to enjoying your first day as a married couple. Cause if you don't that might be one of your shoulda coulda woulda's!
