Heyy Newlyweds,

Now that the wedding is all said and done. Is there anything that you wish you could have done differently ? Do you have any regrets?

After reading this post - I was just curious on what LIW Newlyweds thought were

Really Ladies? But I wanna enjoy myself - I really dont see myself meeting and greeting for 5hrs... maybe 2hrs but I think we all wanna party too. Thats great that you ladies had an awesome night


Ohh I had a blast, but at CH all I wanted to do was eat and at the reception all I wanted to do was dance. My aunt said that I was rude. We stopped going from table to table b/c we got kinda bored and people kept grabbing us for pictures or a chat. It was too much work.

I would've hired someone from the bridal shop that I bought my dress from to dress me the day of.

My dress was not on properly. However, no guest would really have known and that was the only thing I would've changed so aside from that, nothing!

I shoulda given my photog a must take list or instisted we take more even if my BP got pissed

I should have given Duet my bridal canvas and stuck to my must-take list.

I would've ordered my dress one size bigger and stayed closer to my DH the entire reception...oh and purposefully visit tables.

I would've gotten a different photographer (we used Velvet), I would have insisted on someone having a must-take photo list (we missed several because the photog insisted we go to our cocktail hour), and I would have used a different florist (we used Little Flower Shop).

And I would have smuggled out some food since we barely got to eat - we used CLM as our reception hall. FANTASTIC!

immediately following our ceremony we were escorted into a room for a few moments in private. Our RH provided a bunch of food from CH in there. We had about 30 different options for CH, and only 10 made it in, I wish I was specific about the food that ended up in that room. I really wanted a crab cake but never had one

I had amazing day with almost no issues. This is all that I cant think of:
I would not have spent money on petal cones or a guestbook. No one signed the guestbook and no one threw the petal cones.
I would have chosen a different vendor to make my cake. There were a number of issues with it on the day of which thankfully were kept from me, but I found out later.

i have to say, i had the perfect day and every penny i spent was worth it.

the only thing i wouldnt have spent money on is the photo cards, no one uploaded pictures. but thats also bc my MD but them in a bad spot. bu thats really it!

Should have made more time for formal family pictures and the must take photo list. I should have let my photographer know who was important to get photos of. I have almost no pics of one of my sil's and more of one bridesmaid than of my sister.

not really wedding related, but should have tried to get grandma an outfit in December, rather than running around the DAY BEFORE to try and find her something to wear...

I should have spent the extra $$ and had a videographer!

I should have worn a lighter dress.

I would have trusted my gut on a certain vendor and hired a new one to replace him. I also shoould have told him what he was doing wrong when he was actually doing it...and not the next day.

I wouldn't have stressed and spent money over the small stuff like bathroom baskets, favors, table numbers, menus, etc.

Other then that, I really loved our day.
