So I spoke wtih my banquet manager and he said if i show him a pic of the cake i want, i can prob get that (if it stays semi-simple)
please show me some pics of cakes that would prob not cost any extra.
(so no fondant)

our 'color' is red ... but it doesn't have to be red, to be honest (plus, even if the pic is red, i can always choose a diff color)

LOVE LOVE that last white and red one!!!
I love simple cakes.
We're taking a simple cake from the baker and bought gum paste flowers on Etsy and decorating it ourselves. :)
