I bought my girls clutches, but I want to get them something else...

I bought my girls tote bags from LL bean with their initials, BM tanks, flip flops, day of jewelry and coach wristlets.

I got my girls each a different vera bradley bag, each in a different style, but this color and their doj! im going to get a cute picture frame as well, just havent picked them out yet!
I got the girls a Vera Bradley totebag, filled it with a personalized cosmetic bag (I put Bath and Body Works items in here and a personalized compact mirror), and other goodies - Yankee candles, umbrella for the day of in case it rained, and a Coach wristlet, etc. My MOH got the same stuff except, instead of a wristlet, a Coach bag.

I made them scrapbooks last year sometime and am just about to finish the last BM's scrapbook. 6 in total-and Im buying them gift cards and some earings for the wedding day. Havent picked those out yet though.

I got them Coach make up bags and I am paying for their DOM (day of make up...i think I just made up my own LIW acronym!) Oh yea and a pair of flip flops for the reception.

I bought my girls Gucci make up bags and I know of a girl who makes pretty swavroski crystal bracelets so i'm going to include that. maybe throw in some make up and stuff to fill out the makeup bag.

It's hard because all of the stuff marketed as 'bridesmaids gifts' are all the same like monogrammed totes and beach bags and jewelry trincket boxes. I know that I don't want that stuff, so I am sure that my girls don't either, so why waste money on stuff no one wants? I won't give them jewelry to wear to my wedding or make-up and hair to wear to my wedding and the like. That doesn't seem like much of a gift for them. I'm still not sure but I think they are all getting spa gift certificates so that they can go and enjoy themselves away from my wedding.

Sorry that the gifts that mostly everyone gets for their BM's basically suck to you. Alot of people are more than happy to receive jewelry and other 'bridesmaids gifts' so it's not something that no one wants.

I was in my friends wedding 3 years ago and she is from Columbia....she bought us all columbian gold necklaces and then got us all a charm that reflected our personalities.
i.e her friend who was a teacher got an apple I got a dolphin b/c I LOVE them and her sister got a gold horse charm.
I loved it....I still wear it and that was 3 years ago!

I bought the girls coach wristlets and plus, I am making them their jewerly and I got them a makeup bag I am debating on wether or not to get them old navy flip flops to change into
