Show Me Your Shoes!

Hi Everyone,

Those who don't mind sharing, can you post pictures of the shoes you wore and those your bridesmaids wore (maybe even the designers)?

I need ideas!

Mine were Ann Taylor. I loved them and they were pretty comfy- I left them on all night!

I had my BMs buy whatever shoes tehy wanted in either gold or bronze. I didn't want them having the same shoes. I thought it would look weird since they wore different necklines. And some people are better with a lower heal while others prefer higher etc. So I just didn't care. LOL.

These were mine, from Aldo....



Not a great pic, there's a good one in my pro pics but I don't have the digitals yet. Girls all wore different silver shoes, their choice

I also had these in white and wore them most of the night (during all photos b/w ceremony and reception, and most of the reception--I had my real shoes under our sweetheart table and I wore them for the ceremony, entrance to reception, special dances, and the garter!

These are mine - all crystals - got them at Sandy's in Massapequa. My girls can wear whatever as long as they dyed them Truffle.

I didn't have a lot of options because I needed something with at LEAST a 4 inch heel. My FH is a good foot taller than me and I didn't want it to look funny in pictures...

With that said, these are my shoes... I love them and they are super comfy. I would have loved something 'fancier' but with a heel that high, it was hard to find.

my FH is going to be a foot taller than me with my shoes on! hahahaha! i was thinking of getting something with a platform but after i bought my short dress i knew i needed something more dainty since my feet would be showing - i really got to break them in b/c once that short reception dress goes on there is no turning back!

I didn't have a lot of options because I needed something with at LEAST a 4 inch heel. My FH is a good foot taller than me and I didn't want it to look funny in pictures...

With that said, these are my shoes... I love them and they are super comfy. I would have loved something 'fancier' but with a heel that high, it was hard to find.

My FH is a foot taller than me also..but the highest I'm going is 2.5 in heels.

bad knee I'm 32 going on 82.

Still looking for my shoes.

that is such a plus when they are cute AND comfy!!! I've worn mine around the house and so far they are comfy... but my mom took them from me b/c she said i was going to ruin them if i didn't stop wearing them... the funny thing is, i don't even live home!!

yeah the shoes i got, i think they are 3 inch heels - they look and feel a lot higher than that but when im wearing them im not that much taller at all - i think its because the front is very flat - there isnt any platform, so there isnt much lift going on

i dont know how im going to manage in them though! i know for CH im changing into my wedge flip flops and after our entrance into the reception im putting my flips flops back on until i change dresses - then for the last 3 hours or so ill have to brave dancing in those heels! i know that the killer will be standing in them for the ceremony! im in the process of ordering all types of cushions to test out!

Tell mom to give 'em back so you can 'work em out' I also took a hint from my ballet days when I used to break in my pointe shoes...I wrapped them in a towel so they wouldn't get dirty, put them in the hinge part of the door and slammed them I'm all about comfort

I hear ya. If i did that to my shoes, I'd break them. LOL. I think that I may take my shoes back since i have to have them died anyway. I also have the Dr. Scholl inserts that i want to try... they better make me gellin'!!!!

it might not be bad. My shoes were 3.5 inch heels. They were extremely comfortable. What matters more and what will cause your feet to hurt is the arch. YOu can have 2 shoes same exact heel but one shoe will have a very high arch and the arch starts more front than the other shoes. I knew i would be fine with my shoes bc it didnt arch from all the way in the front like some shoes do

I couldn't even stand in the shoes you are wearing. I'm so jealous of all of you that can wear and walk in high shoes. I have the flattest feet ever and bad knees.
