I did not contribute anything to the shower, her mom paid for it. I bought a gift, showed up, and made the ribbon hat.

Ive been in 4 BP's and never paid for the Shower. The parents always paid.

I just through a shower for my sister's wedding, and i was the only person in the bridal party, so i paid for everything myself. I had it at a cute mexican restuarant on a Saturday from 1-3. They included soft drinks, tons of appertizes (enough for a full lunch) and they cut & served the cake i brought in from outside. Total was $10 per person. I found favors online for $2.00 each (clearance item). With a few extras, the total shower cost me about $400.
