Shower & Checks!

We picked our menu on Saturday! WHAT?!?! 38 days to go!

I had my hair trial on Saturday! Tracie at Hot Hair has been doing my hair since I was 8, and she never disappointing. I went in with a few pictures of what I like and she did such a great job. She wants to make a few small changes for the big day (a little more volume on the top.) I couldn't be happier with the outcome. She doesn't travel, but if you live around Coram, check her out. She owns the studio and can definitely accommodate you & your bridal party.

I also had my shower on Sunday! I knew the date, but no other details. It was amazing. My mom and sister did such a beautiful job and all the ladies there were so great! I could go on and on about what a great day it was, but I have so much STUFF to organize and put away. There are pics in my album.

Finally, on saturday morning, before all of this started, I went to the nail salon with my mom and one of my BMs. I hear a familiar voice behind me asking if there were any available appointments. I turn around it is my best friend since kindergarten and BM who currently lives in Seattle. She didn't think she'd be at the shower, because she was flying in for the wedding 5 weeks later. I just about passed out when I saw her. I started crying. It turns out, my mother paid for her flight to LI. I was so happy to have her there, it was truly the best gift I've ever received.

Aw that's so sweet! What an excited weekend! Mt best friend and MOH lives in Arizona and I have no clue what, other than the wedding, she will be around for. No one is telling me anything about anything. I asked about dates....nothing (I don't even want to know the date, just wanted to know if it's been discussed and share the weekend FH took off for his Bach party because we were hoping to parties on the same weekend.) I asked about places for a shower and they're not budging (I just don't want it at the restaurant I used to work at and my parents go to dinner like all the time.) That really is so excited that she surprised you and was here for your shower!
