We also didn't invite every woman invited to the wedding, I really don't think people do that anymore ![]()
My relatives were invited, my bridal party, and a small handful of our closest friends (not all were local).
On my DH's side, he doesn't have many relatives ... so his mom invited some of her friends. I didn't love that I had to first meet them at my shower, but such is life.
