Shower thank you note hell!

So I had my shower 2 weeks ago and my MOH had the thank you notes in her car. So I had to wait a week to get them.

They are FINALLY done.

But I had a hard time coming up wit things to say to all 35 of my guests..

'Thanks so much for the crock pot, we will put it to good use'

'The cake knife was great and we hope to use it a lot over the years'.

Its EXAUSTING!

Anyone else have challenges with their thank you notes?

I might be one of the only ones thought it was easy.

i only had 20 thank you cards to do and found my self being repetitive. There is only so many things one could say.

Same here. I made a couple of little changes/additions but mostly it was about the same type of wording.

I got this great book at Fat Cat Paperie that gives all kinds of suggestions on what to write for different items. I would use it to get me started, but I have always been good at personalized notes.

Yes, but you have to figure this. No one is sitting around from your shower comparing thank you notes. So don't worry if you sound a little repetitive, they'll never know you wrote something similar on every other thank you!

I didnt think it was so bad. I know its nice to personalize each one.But sometimes going generic really makes things easier. I had to do 75 TU's for my shower. Some i had to make simple & generic.
