siblings & your FH

i know sometimes many families have issue with their brother-in-laws/sister-in-laws & i have just been wondering, how everyone's siblings get along with their FH??? & how do you get along with your FHs siblings????


i have a brother & a sister & to be honest the relationship that they have with my FH is a little rocky. some days they get along very well & other days not as well.
FH is an only child so i do not have anyone that i have to get along with.

since my brother is married, i have a SIL, & i am not going to say that things are always easy in our relationship but i do get along with my SIL. i also think that she is a wonderful mother to my nieces & nephew.

I have two older sisters and FH gets along really well with them. It's weird though, because there's a big age gap between them and me. But I will say, FH and I took our relationship with one of my sisters to a whole new level on a very drunken Christmas Eve

FH has an older sister and a younger brother, and I really get along with them as if they are my own siblings. I love them to death, even though they drive me crazy. But I couldn't ask for anything more

I think that I am lucky!!! Both of my sisters get along really, really, really well with my FH and I get along with his brother too!

I love FH's brothers. They are funny, and we all get along and enjoy hanging out. I also love his SIL's. They are in my bridal party.

FH and my sister also get along. She loves him!We are lucky. Our familes all get along.

Um, one of my BIL's has a problem with EVERYONE in my family. He brings it upon himself for people to be combative with him.....My FH has pretty much followed in the same foot steps as the rest of my family and does not really get along with said BIL. I tolarate my BIL but we still wonder why my sister ever married him...ugh

But my FH gets along with all my siblings and my other BIL....

FH hasnt met my brother yet. they speak sometimes on the phone and seem to have a lot to talk about. so I cant wait to see how they will be with each other when him and my parents come for the wedding.

FH has one older and one younger sister. I get along with them. we actually dont spend enough time together to not get along.
I do have to say we are not close, but very friendly with each other

FH and my sis get along great! He treats her like she’s his sister.

I’ve only met FH’s sister once and let’s just say, it was an experience
I’ve met his brother only once too, and we got along fine.
He’s got another sister whom I have not met yet, she lives in Florida.

my sister (and her husband, my BIL) get along REALLY well with FH.......we hang out with them all the time and he has clicked with them since day 1.....

his sister lives in Italy, so I don't see her too often, but we do speak through emails and on the phone and when she does come and visit, we get along well also!!!!

i get along really well with fsil ( a few hiccups in the beginning when she got engaged right after me lol oh the sisterly love haha).... fh gets along ok with my sister, i dont really get a long with her so its pretty much like hi, bye, how are you lol

My FH gets along soooooo well with my brothers they love him and he loves them. I nvr see my fbil but we get along. My sil (my brothers wife) and I have an extremely rocky relationship!

FH and my brother get along. They are 2 totally different personalities...but they are pretty good with eachother.

FH's siblings...hmm. They are all younger than me (teenagers), so we don't really talk much. The only one I've had to be involved with alot lately has been FSIL, depending on the day she can either be a totall btch or fairly nice lol

my brothers are 18 and 20. FH is 31 so there's a bit of an age gap between them... but they both LOVE him and FH gets along great with them. they are out of state so they dont see eachother often but when they do... FH is like the 3rd brother. um. not to me. to them.

i like 2 of FH's 3 sisters very much. i have had major MAJOR MAJOR drama with the other one though. it is pretty much broken for good. she's a psycho.

I have a brother and FH has a sister. FH gets along pretty well with my brother and the same with me and FH's sister (we did have issues over my bridal shower but for my own sanity I just gave in).

I have one sister and FH has a sister and a brother and we all love one another and get along great. We are so lucky - couldn't ask for more!

Fh gets along fine with my sister. He doesn't see her too too often but has no problems with her. I also get along with FSIL but the same, I don't see her too often.

my sister is a PITA but we still love her so much..she's 18 and has gone through very rocky teenage years...she always confides in FH and i'm glad that they ahve a great relationship

FBIL is great, i love him dearly and wish he had a gf lol he's like our child! we have even vacationed together!

FH has an older brother and sister. FBIL is like 14 years older than us but we get along great....Fh and I hang out often with him and his gf. FSIL is psycho. I mean we get along and everything but she is just annoying so its hard to be around her for extended periods. lol.

I have 5 sisters and 1 bro. They all have BF's, GF's. And they all get on great with FH. They dont live close by but they all text him as much as they text me.
My FH has 1 sis and 3 bros and i get on really well with all of them and there Wives and Husband. No complaints at all and really looking forward to getting them all together.
Even though both families dont really know each other and they are coming to NY for the wedding together they are planning a pre wedding party for themselves to get to know each other better.

I have an older sister and a younger brother. At first, my bro didn't WANT to try to get along with FH bc of the age thing (FH is 6 months younger than my bro). My bro for some reason thinks he's holier than thou and that he's so mature and everyone else is so immature... but they are close now... They talk more than I talkwith my bro...

My sister is a weirdo, but we do our best to all get along. No REAL problems. just stupid little things.... My BIL is kind of weird too just bc he married her. They have two kids who are quickly turning into brats, but I would like Fh and BIL to spend some more time together... maybe without us girls and the kids??? THere was some talk of building a computer together, so hopefully they will...

FH has 3 brothers. I get along with them all most of the time. BUT the oldest (32) and the youngest (23) are MOMMA'S BOYS to the nth degree... FH and the other middle bro (26) aren't SO bad with that... I hate that they're such babies and I've taught FH to clean up his own dishes and do his own laundry, etc....... So I still get frustrated with the bros sometimes when they're acting that way, but other than that, those are the only issues...


sometimes rocky is good. It brings out the true and then you get closer, or don't want to and that's fine too!!!

I've never had a brother, so FH's brother is just like the little bro I always wanted.

Likewise, FH has never had a sister and he looks at her in the same way.
