my dress came in last week and they were all 'u well just put in storage you dont need to see it now ur wedding isnt for awhile. well put it away and you can come back 3 months before your wedding' meaningwhile im like 'umm nooooo i want to see my dress and make sure everything is right ' . so then i call back today to make an appointment to see my dress this week and they we're giving me an attitude and saying i couldnt come in on this day and that day cause theres no room because its busy season. so finally she agreed i could come on friday after she 'ughed' at me.
i love how when ur buying the dress they act all nice because they just want to make the sale and then once they make the sale no1 gives a sh*t and they don't want to deal with you. i mean they called me back in april or may to tell me my veil came in and they didnt even get my name right. they called me jenna on my answering machine and i had to make sure they were calling the right girl.
my good experience there is turning into a bad one.

oh no! That is so annoying. You have a right to see your dress when it comes in regardless of when your wedding is. If they continue with the attitude, I would take it out of there and go someplace that will treat you good. You don't need the headache!!

ridiculous! You paid your money, you should be able to see that dress whenever you want. They have absolutely no right to keep you from seeing it or to deny you an appointment to even try it on.

That would irritate me too!! As soon as mine came in, I was able to go see it to make sure it was correct.
Then one day FSIL was in the area and I wanted her to see it. We called 15 mins in advance and they had it out waiting for us!

i would take it and get it altered some where else.... thats BS.... u paid for it so you should get to see it!!!!

they better not give me a hard time on friday. i cant believe the attitude at these bridal salons. honestly...i bought a second dress (more of a party dress) from peridress which does knock off dresses in china and they give me better customer service then this bridal salon. its crazy. at this point im more excited about the 2nd $180 knock off dress then my $3000 from this bridal salon. nothing but a headache i tell you!haha

My attitude is that if you don't like your job leave it. I hate dealing with unpleasant people, you pay all this money and its not like its an unreasonable request.

I'm actually surprised they ordered your dress so far in advance. Usually salons try not to get your dress in until about 3-4 months before your wedding so they aren't liable for it.

hmm ive never heard that actually. my dress was being discontinued and there was a pattern change. this particular designers dresses take 9-12 months to get in they said. lucky for me it only took 7 months.
