i know this sounds silly because ur appendix is on ur right side but the pain usually starts in ur stomach...basicallt right under ur breast bone...trust me....i thought it was gas too...i was neasuas and i had to go to the bathroom...not to be gross....but nothing would come out either end...it was horible...it felt like i was getting stabbed....it usually gradyually goes to ur right side but usually by then its really inflamed....so if u have ur appendix...it might be that

anyone just not feeling right?
since last week i have had pain on and off in my upper stomach (between belly and breasts) almost like a gas pocket. At first I thought it was a stomach virus, but havent had to throw up or etc.. although i feel like i should. If i eat anything it gets worse. Been taking Malox as it seems to help. I dont know what it is. some people told me indegestion but i have never had that before and its been going on since last week. I just feel so misserable, i could just lay down all day.
any ideas ladies? (i have a Dr.s appointment on wed)
OMG i have the same thing!!! everyone keeps telling me it's just gas but it's totally not.
i cant lay down and get comfortable at all b/c it's such a weird pain. it's almost like i got punched or pulled something.
if you go to the Dr, let me know what they say!

I went to the doctor about the same thing 2 weeks ago (it had been going on for about 2 weeks & getting worse). He told me to start taking my acid reflux medication twice a day. I mentioned that I wasn't getting the burning feeling and he said you won't always have that as a symptom. I took the medication and it cleared right up in a couple of days. Hope your diagnosis is as easy as mine was...good luck at the doctor and feel better!

seriously i thought it was a virus but i associate a virus with throwing up and (you know what else). my brother was sick like that Fri and my sis on and off the past few days too. but we all have that stomch prob but we are all being affected differently.. so maybe it is a virus.

well ive had stomach problems for as long as i can remember, ever since i was like 3-4 years old so for me its normal. It has been bad again but i think its because of alot of stress ive been dealing with lately which causes your stomach problems to get worse.
Sorry you feel like this but they say many women develop IBS in their 20's so you might want to look up some info on this and see if the symptoms apply to you. Nexxium works great, also try zantac BEFORE you eat a meal. Feel better

I agree. Fh had the same thing. He thought it was just indegestion but then they gave him the nexium and he felt so much better.

you might be getting acid reflux (sp?) Just because you never got it doesn't mean it can't start now. Actually, in the 20's is when these things come out. Try taking nexium (I think they might sell it over the counter now), or any kind of acid reducing pill and see if that helps

well i wish it was regular stress that i normally deal with all that i can handle, payments all those type of things, getting things done is an easier stress to deal with...This is not just that type of stress, maybe not even the right word
I normally just deal with stress and get annoyed with it but don't let it get to me. Fh says its weird for him to see me stress things out or not handling something

i think it was only peter pan and some budget brand as well. i would google it to find out more. i know, my fh wasnt feeling well either and he eats it all the time. he had to call his local deli and find out which brand they use.
