same conversations occur at my house I usually in these cases take control of the TV and put on wedding shows, or ignore him while being on LIW

Awww sorry sweetie. Maybe you can just talk to him and say that just b/c u live together doesn't mean you shouldn't go out together. FH and I live together but are always doing things when are home so it's not like we're hanging out and relaxing, so we like to do a date night or at least go to dinner once a week.
