personally, i think they're tacky. reminds me of a bar mitzvah or sweet 16.

also, what in the world do you do with it after??? there's no way that's being hung in my home!

I bought one from Target, but only because it was on sale for $15. FH keeps saying, ok so what do we do with it after the wedding??

I guess I haven't thought about that!!

I think it's tacky. Maybe you could just buy a pretty frame for the casual pic?

I like the idea!! It's a picture of the 2 of you with all of your guests names on it, I'd absolutely hang it up at home afterwards!!

My best friend hing hers up in her house. It's cute. I am not having one though My photographer is just too expensive I told them to deduct some $$$ and omit the e-pics and signing board....what would I really do with all those pics anyway?

I do think it's cute though

I really like the idea. We are thinking about getting one. Afterwards, we would hang it in the house and display it. I love the idea of looking at it every day and seeing a reminder of my wedding day.

We did one, and everyone loved it. They wrote us little messages. We will hang it in our house when we move. Its not cracked in the pic, its just a bad picture.

I am having a signature board, but instead of a pucture of me and FH, my parents bought us a beautiful painting of a wedding scene and we put that in the middle of the Target signature board so everyone can sign around the painting and then we will hang it in our house. I think putting your own pic is a great idea too!!

I had one at my Bat Mitzvah so I'm done with that. I'd rather they sign a book at my wedding.

I bought one for my FH cousin bridal shower. It was a hit at the wedding.
I do not know if I want one yet.
I agree it migt be hard to find the right place to hang it in your home since it is huge. Where do you suggest it be hung?

imo, i love the idea.. a guest book will 100% sit in a box in the attic, but a sign on board will at least have a chance at being remembered and shown . i also did not have one at a sweet 16 and nevaer seen one at one at a batmitsvah. i jsut like that its a pic of the newly wed couple .

I love the idea of a signature broad. I had a guestbook for my sweet 16. The whole book was empty except for 4 pages... IMO you can hang the signature broad in your house, I know FI and I are.

I agree. I'm going to have one for that same reason. The guest book to me is a waste because after the wedding it goes into a box marked wedding stuff. I'm not Jewish, so I've never seen one or have had one at a Batmistvah. I guess if you've had one before you don't want another one. I think it's also a great conversation piece when you have guests come over. They'll remember your wedding day and reminisce. Ultimately its up to you and your FH.

I'm doing one! I'd rather have a sign-board than a guest book (IMO). Our photographer will provide everything including the easel and light for it. We will be using one of our engagement photos.

I thought about it then decided against it. I am doing a photo guest book from shutterfly with pictures through out our relationship. This wa if no one signs it, I still have the album of pictures!

I think it can be done depending where you put it. I've only been to one wedding where they had a matted picture to sign. It was in an 'out of the way' space, so only people who really knew it was there signed it. If you do this, make sure that there is a protective clear sheet over the picture. Some drunk guys started drawing a beard on the bride and horns on the groom.

We're doing it also. I got the Pottery Barn one of EBay for $50!

I also thought it would be so nice to have that as a mento I could look at on a wall. I think I'm going to put it in the guest room/wedding room. I wound up painting it a sage green and with the white trim it matches my wedding. So now I call it my wedding room. It will always remind me of it.

My sister did it and she has hers hanging in the hall leading to her bedroom along with other pictures. It really looks great and everyone always stops to look at it and read it.

Mine is gorgeous and I absolutely love it and did hang it in my home. It reminds me of our all friends and family who love us. I get a good feeling every time I look at it, When people come over they always read all of the signatures :) Its something I will treasure forever!
