i've been thinking about signature drinks. Since we're getting married in Dec, I was thinking about doing a holiday one (they will pass around 3 of our own choosing). What do you think of this one?

we are doing a blue drink called 'something blue' and it will be that blue hypnotiq color..
It's basically hypnotiq and champagne but we have to look and figure out what other signature drinks we want.

I think the egg nog signature drink is a really good idea for a winter wedding!!
We're probably going to do the wedding cake martini signature drink. I found slightly different ingredients on different websites...but here is a list that I found on one website:
1/2 ounce Absolut vodka 3 ounces Amaretto 1/2 ounce orange juice 1/2 ounce pineapple juice 1 tablespoon heavy cream

Haha definitely have to change the name. I'm having purple BM dresses too! Like that vibrant plum color. Have you found anything that shows you what the drink actually looks like? I found a picture of a pink drink in one of my bridal mags and I'm sure they can make a purple version, it was really pretty in a martini glass with a trim of like gold around the glass. They just didn't give the recipe.

we will be doing sig drinks as well...we love the absolute stress martini at the melting pot so i figured we could do that and name it the 'new last name' tini or the newlywed tini...and then i want to def do something fall ish...i love thinking of these things! hehehe

I have no idea whats in them but they are awesome!!! The candy cane idea is realllly cute. There are soo much great ideas for a wedding around christmas time

ooo that does sound really pretty! Maybe you can check the website of the magazine, sometimes the same info or more is online. Im sure they can make something similar in purple and the bartenders at the RH will prob work with you
I haven't seen any pix of purple drinks, but I will keep looking and let you know if I do!

that is soooo cute with the candy canes! Nicole (so sad she left) mentioned doing something like this when we booked
Peppermint Martini Recipe Ingredients
5 ounces of Chopin vodka 2 ounces of white Creme de Menthe 1/2 ounce of Peppermint Schnapps Mini candy canes The mix
Pour all of your liquid ingredients into a shaker 1/2 full of cracked ice. Give a good 20 vigorous shakes and let the shaker rest for half a minute. Strain your lucious peppermint martini into 2 freezing martini glasses. Add a candy cane in each glass for garnish. Enjoy!
