I need some help,... what signature drinks are you using for your wedding?

We are trying to have our hall recreate a signature drink that a friend of ours created. Shes a 'mixologist' from DC and she specializes in specialty liquors, syrups, and bitters. Its a very summery pear drink.

Since you are getting married in the summer, why not go for something fresh and fruity. My friend mentioned something about watermelon mint, and it sounded delicious! I may do it, but im not a mint person. Also you may want to give some flavor ideas to your hall and see what they can come up with too.

Ours is going to be something blue & raspberry flavored and called 'the happy little blue bird'.... you should name yours 'Pretty in pink'!

Ohhhhh Pretty in Pink, I never thought of that, good idea....hmmmmm so i know it will be pink lol.

I am having a hard time finding a pink drink that isn't super strong (Martini or Cosmopolitan).
Meeting with WM next week and going to see if they have any suggestions.

We are doing one for each of us. Kind of like a bride's pick and a groom's pick. I'm using a sex on the beach because that is hands down my favorite drink, and FH is doing a drink called LA water. It's kind of like a LI iced tea with some extra stuff. He likes really strong drinks.

Well, I'm actually an opera singer, so I'm calling it the Queen of the Night, which is actually a character who sings a very famous and well-known song, while giving a nod to the fact that I'm the bride and essentially, the queen of the night!

My mom loves French Martinis so I'll probably have that be one of the signature drinks, but change the name. They come out a purple-ish color.

I had a pink drink for my wedding, but I forgot to give it a name!! So they were just calling it the 'welccome drink' all night. Oops lol


It was:
Cherry vodka
White wine
Sprite
Splash of cranberry juice

It was delicious!! I had three during cocktail hour then switched to champagne during the reception.
