silk flowe petals vs real

I'm an 07 bride but I figured you guys were the ones to ask since your weddings are right around the corner.

If you don't mind posting -- How much did you pay for real flower petals and how many did you get?

I found this site for 500 silk petals per bag @ $16.90

i found the least expensive petals at wpetals.com there was even a code on here that i found for a % off... they were A LOT less expensive then the real ones... i put the fake ones in the fg baskets and with the centerpieces... people didnt even know they were fake!!! I did use real ones with the petal cones because i figured that those petals people would be touching, but if i were to do it again, i would have probably used the fake ones to save the extra money.... hth!
