Silk Rose petals

I was wondering if silk rose petals look any different than the real. I want to scatter petals on the tables and the place card table.

Re: Silk Rose petals

I think they look slightly off, but for the money you save I wouldn't stress it. I'm using silk rose petal for the toss and on the tables and I thikn they will look just as beautiful as real ones. Not to mention, if real rose petals get a little damp, they can stain.

Re: Silk Rose petals

One of my friends had a day wedding and used fake rose petals and one had a night wedding and had real ones..
I didn't see any difference..
But if it is really worrying you...the fact that you have an evening wedding where lights will be dimmer...helps

Re: Silk Rose petals

I happen to LOVE the fake ones! At michaels they have them, and some are made out of a shimmery tulle type material...I love those!
