Rhodium is very strong - it's used to plate white gold to make it stronger (like on a wedding band). I bought a friend of mine a rhodium bracelet and it's gorgeous. Cheap too!

Rhodium is used to coat platinum to make shiny.
Rhodium in not a precious metal in the way silver or gold is. If that is important to you, then silver is better.
Rhodium is cheaper and is used to make costume jewerly and stuff. So if price is important to you, then rhodium is better.
