Isn't it supposed to be hosted by the parents of the groom? We were planning on a restaurant, but not a super fancy one. If they don't pay, I'm thinking that ball pit at McDonalds...
I don't know what is 'supposed' to happen, but we are paying for our entire wedding ourselves. anyway, I wouldn't expect anyone to do more for me than what I would do for myself. neither of our parents have the means for this stuff.
if I hadn't already watched 'Supersize Me', Mickey D's would be at the top of my list! LOL
Even with watching supersize me, I absolutely love McDonalds - I know I'm sick!

Hollie - I LOVE Family Restaurant. I've been there a couple of times while RDs are going on.
FMIL offered to pay for the dinner, so it will be at Nick DiAngelo's in Merrick. If she wasn't paying, it would have been at her house (our apt is too small).

Definitely Blue Collar- we are having a big fancy wedding two days later so I want the RD to be more relaxed. I think that we are probably going to have it at Bertucci's on 110 they have a nice private room and plenty of room for my neice and nephews to run around.

we're having ours at cozymel's in westbury.. FMIL is paying thank goodness or else it would just be at their house..no more budget for more food for our guests!
