I played in the beta, but didn't get the full version. I'm continuing my Ultima addiction. hehe. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun!!!

I played the beta and just got the game for xmas. Its great and ohhhhh so addicting lol.

Can I just tell you how disappointed I am, that is the only thing I asked for, did I get it?? NO!!! but I am not upset at all, I am just upset that I cannot play with you darn it.

Maybe once I get it you can teach me a thing or 2. Enjoy

what is the one I should be getting for beginners, I went on Amazon and I saw so many I printed them all out for hubby, poor man must have been confused.

The one I got is the yellow box... I dont know if theother one is 'online' or not. I never played the regular sims, so I have a lot to learn in this... but I love online games, and it is lots of fun so far!

I would start with basic sims - the second one - so you learn how to do everything and balance keeping your sim happy. I can't believe I'm giving advice on learning how to play the sims -- I really need a 12 step program to separate me from that game!

Shamma....

You need to get the one in the yellow box. The other one i beleive is just the regular game with the expansion packs....totally different than the online game.

I'm on almost every night so if someone wants to meet up just let me know : ).

Exactly - in the online one all the other characters are other people online and in the blue box the computer controls the other characters

Yes....the yellow box you have to pay i think like $10 a month but you are playing and interacting with thousands of other people. The blue box is the sims put your are playing alone with some computer generated people. Both are very fun but the online sims is just like a big chat room with aminated people lol.
